On Saturday, November 4, 2017 celebrities and animal advocates will be taking to the seas for animals in the second annual Animal Legal Defense Fund Cruise for a Cause.

The event will feature a silent auction, plant based appetizers, drinks, music and activities as guests learn about the strides made for animals in 2017 and what’s to come in 2018 – all while cruising the beautiful Marina del Rey. Few tickets are still available at www.aldf.org/cruise-for-a-cause.

Some of the celebrities confirmed to attend are: Scandal’s Bellamy Young, Entourage’s Perry Reeves, True Blood’s Kristin Bauer.

Supporters of the event include: Singer/songwriter Moby, Vegan entrepreneur Russell Simmons, Cat expert Jackson Galaxy, Journalist and animal advocate Jane Velez Mitchell, Actress Elaine Hendrix, Reality star Simone Reyes.

The silent auction will include items such as:

-Moby donated dinner for 4 w/ him at Little Pine (his restaurant in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles)
-Jackson Galaxy donated a basket of assorted Jackson Galaxy products for cats & dogs
-Beyond Meat donated a private tour for 4 of their new HQ, a product tasting, and assorted Beyond Meat clothing items & coupons
-Jill Milan donated a “New Canaan” clutch from her handbag collection
-ALDF Executive Director Stephen Wells donated a private 4-hour sailing excursion for 5, sailing out of Marina del Rey or San Francisco Bay.
