The Napa Valley Film Festival (NVFF) is pleased to announce its collaboration with Napa based non-profit, Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch (JARR), a new partner of the upcoming 7th annual event, taking place November 8-12.

JARR is giving the Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch Humanitarian Award to Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed at the Celebrity Tributes on Thursday, November 9, at the Lincoln Theater in Yountville.

The Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch Humanitarian Award celebrates those individuals who have shown outstanding compassion, advocacy and dedication to animal protection issues. The recipients, actors Ian Somerhalder (Vampire Diaries, Lost) and Nikki Reed (The Twilight Saga, Twilight, Thirteen), exemplify JARR’s mission to show compassion to all animals in need and by using their unique platform to bring a spotlight to animal welfare issues help further the work to end animal cruelty in all it’s forms.

“I am delighted to dedicate the 2017 JARR Humanitarian Award to Ian and Nikki for their outstanding animal advocacy work,” said Monica Stevens, Co-founder Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch, “They not only bring inspiration to their fans by promoting a cruelty free lifestyle but have shown incredible dedication and compassion in their work to educate people and youth to make a positive change for the planet and the animals.”

Access Hollywood’s Natalie Morales will host the Celebrity Tributes, and will conduct intimate on-stage conversations with the honorees. Joining Nikki and Ian will be iconic film director Nancy Meyers (The Intern,The Holiday; It’s Complicated), who will receive the Charles Krug Legendary Director Award; Raymond Vineyards Trailblazer recipient Michael Shannon (The Current War, The Shape of Water, Nocturnal Animals, Elvis and Nixon); and Michael Stuhlbarg (Call Me By Your Name, The Shape of Water, The Current War). Caldwell Vineyards Maverick Tribute honoree Will Ferrell will be honored the next day on Friday, November 10 before a special retrospective screening of Stranger Than Fiction. The new Rising Star Showcase at Materra | Cunat Vineyards on Saturday, November 11 will honor a handful of young talent including Ana de Armas (War Dogs; Blade Runner 2049), Odeya Rush (Coup d’Etat, Goosebumps, The Giver); Alex Wolff (My Friend Dahmer; Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) and Gregg Sulkin (Runaways, Faking It).

Other notable celebrities expected to attend the festival include David Arquette, Zoey Deutch, Thomas Middleditch, Haley Joel Osmet, Jim Rash, Elijah Wood, Eric Stoltz, Lea Thompson, and many more.
