“Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda has announced he will release a single on Oct. 6 to benefit Puerto Rico Hurricane Maria relief efforts.
The star told CNN: “It’s a love letter to Puerto Rico,” and that he he had “called every Puerto Rican I know” to sing on the song.
Miranda’s parents came from Puerto Rico.
