Celebrity Fight Night announced today that the legendary Sir Elton John and the world-renowned tenor, Andrea Bocelli, will take the stage at the historic Colosseum in Rome on Friday, September 8th for a special musical event as part of this year’s “Celebrity Fight Night in Italy.”

The newly announced gala concert will also feature performances by musical icons such as Steven Tyler and David Foster. The 4th Annual “Celebrity Fight Night in Italy” is a 7-day experience in Rome, where philanthropic donors and special guests can enjoy the most magical places in and around the capital city. Funds raised benefit both the Andrea Bocelli Foundation and the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center. Celebrity Fight Night, a star-studded annual charity event, has raised over $132 million for many charities throughout its 23-year history, most significantly for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ.

“Celebrity Fight Night in Italy” kicks off on Tuesday, September 5th in New York, where guests will board a privately chartered Airbus A340 jumbo jet for their overnight flight to Rome. Upon arrival in Rome, guests will be whisked away to the luxurious Waldorf Astoria Hotel Cavalieri where they will enjoy a dinner on the hotel’s rooftop terrace and entertainment by The London Essentials.

The following evening will bring guests to the Palazzo del Quirinale, which is the residence of the President of Italy, for a brief tour and a welcome cocktail in the presence of President Sergio Mattarella himself. Stefano Ricci will then welcome guests to the historic Palazzo Colonna, one of the oldest and largest private palaces in Rome, for dinner and entertainment by José Carreras, Igudesman & Joo, Malika Ayane and The London Essentials.

Following an exclusive dinner at Galleria Doria Pamphilj on Friday, guests will venture to the majestic Colosseum where Maestro Andrea Bocelli, Sir Elton John, Steven Tyler, David Foster, Sumi Jo, Chris Botti, 2CELLOS, and more will take the stage for an unforgettable concert. The performers will be joined by the young and talented JuniOrchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia for what is sure to be an unforgettable evening.

The next night will include a memorable dinner at the extraordinarily exclusive Villa Madama that has belonged to various noble families throughout the years, and is now the property of the Italian government.

The culmination of the 7-day event is an all-white Gala, which will be hosted at Cinecittà, a large film studio in Rome that will be transformed to create the look and feel of Caesar’s Rome. Guests will feel as if they have gone back in time while they enjoy an evening of dinner, music and dancing alongside Maestro Bocelli, David Foster, Reba McEntire, Brooks & Dunn, Joe Walsh, Smokey Robinson, Brian McKnight, The Band Perry, Kristin Chenoweth and other performing artists.

For those located in Italy, donations can be made from September 6th-18th by sending a text message to the Italian telephone number 45523. Funds raised will support the Andrea Bocelli Foundation’s mission to support the students of Sarnano by rebuilding the “Giacomo Leopardi” secondary school which was destroyed in last year’s earthquakes. The Foundation also continues its commitment to educational projects in Haiti, where it has been working for six years.

The seven-day experience is sponsored by AMBI Production, Stefano Ricci, Il Palato Italiano, Vhernier, GVM, Fregoli Luxury Hand-bags, Bvlgari, Falconeri, Julius Baer, and Lear Corporation.
