Yesterday, Bethenny Frankel raised and donated a total of $50,000 to Dress for Success Corpus Christi and Dress for Success Houston to assist women in crisis in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

100 percent of the proceeds will go directly to help women and their families in financial crisis and supply them with needed goods.

The funds, along with future funds raised daily by Bethenny and B Strong, will allow Dress for Success Corpus Christi to eventually repair its location and continue to serve women in their local community after being damaged by Hurricane Harvey.

As an extension of Bethenny’s B Strong initiative, the donations made to Dress for Success Houston will help 900 Professional Women’s Group members overcome the financial crises they will face in the wake of this historic storm.

Both affiliates are exploring other means for helping the thousands of women who will be struggling to rebuild their lives, and Bethenny’s contribution will provide these organizations with the tools and supplies necessary to expand this reach.

B Strong: Find Your Yes is a crisis intervention initiative that provides real-time emergency assistance to women who face crises on their road to success. It’s for women in abusive situations, women at a crossroads and women in dire straits financially. It’s all about helping these women get the tools they need to manage the situation and achieve the best outcome possible.

Bethenny is continuing B Strong’s drive to raise funds and needed supplies to be distributed to women in need in the Houston area next week. The star is providing updates on all of her social channels, including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
