The stars of Hollywood aligned at Fox Studios for Movies By Kids Screening and Awards to benefit Kids In The Spotlight Inc. on Saturday, Nov. 5.
Event host Mo Mcrae, Olympic gold medalist diver Greg Louganis, as well as TV favorites Michael Yo, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Raini Rodriguez and Rico Rodriguez met with the foster youth to watch their films premiere and award them for their achievements.
Throughout the day, guests mingled with the burgeoning filmmakers of Kids in the Spotlight while sipping Hint flavored water, devouring delectable bites by Impeccable Taste Catering and grooving to the beats of 14-year-old DJ Lela B. Young stars of Black-ish Miles Brown, Marcus Scribner and Marsai Martin were spotted greeting foster youth and sharing stories.
Led by founder Tige Charity, Kids in the Spotlight, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization that looks to train underserved youth in the foster care system to create, write, cast and star in their own short films.
