Singer Songwriters Jackson Browne and Steve Earle will join forces on Monday, October 24 at the Balboa Theatre in San Diego, CA for an acoustic show to support YES on 62 – Repeal the Death Penalty.

This special benefit concert is paid for by Volunteers for Yes on 62. YES on California Proposition 62 would repeal the state death penalty and replace the maximum punishment for murder with life in prison without possibility of parole. It would apply retroactively to those already sentenced to death. Under Prop 62, the death penalty will be replaced with a strict life sentence. Those convicted of the worst crimes will NEVER be released. Instead of being housed in expensive private cells on death row, murderers will be kept with other maximum-security inmates.
