Paralyzed Veterans of America, the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes, Disabled American Veterans, the Military Order of the Purple Heart and the Academy of United States Veterans are proud to host The Vettys Presidential Inaugural Ball on January 20, 2017 at Washington D.C.’s historic Hay-Adams Hotel.

Today, the 2017 Vettys Presidential Inaugural Ball and Awards proudly and excitedly announces its outstanding Honorary Host Committee members. The admirable two-time Academy Award and three-time Golden Globe winner, actor and producer Michael Douglas is a member of the Honorary Host Committee in support of this worthy cause. Among the refined committee members is Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Actor, Adam Driver, who is also a former Marine, Combat Veteran and the founder of Arts in the Armed Forces. Actor, Director, Producer, and Co-Chair of the Artists’ Committee for the Innocence Project, Tony Goldwyn; Actor and Director Scott Foley; Actress, Singer, and Producer Bellamy Young and Film and Stage Actor, Joshua Malina are also among the esteemed committee members. The Vettys Presidential Inaugural Ball is also privileged to have Senior Director for Justice for Vets and West Wing’s Melissa Fitzgerald and Private Practice and Grey’s Anatomy’s Kate Walsh joining the Honorary Host Committee.

This night of honor, elegance and prestige will bring together service men and women in unity. VIPs will walk down a black carpet in honor of America’s fallen heroes. The most influential and patriotic members of the American society from the Nation’s Capital and around the country will gather in this nonpartisan celebration to salute their next Commander in Chief.

Paralyzed Veterans of America is a veterans service organization representing veterans with spinal cord injury and/or disease and advocating for the civil rights of all disabled persons for 70 years. PVA is serving in a host-advisory capacity with representation on the Inaugural Ball Planning Committee.
