Last weekend, Habitat For Humanity of Greater Los Angeles brought together more than 400 volunteers to revitalize a neighborhood in the City of Inglewood during the 2016 Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity Build featuring the Entertainment Industry Build on June 3rd, 2016 and Power Women, Power Tools on Jun 4th, 2016.

Specifically, the workers continued the ongoing construction of three new homes on Habitat LA’s Hyde Park Place site, and also helped with repairs and beautifying “green” homes in the surrounding neighborhood. Over the two days, celebrities, entertainment industry executives, Lowe’s Heroes employee volunteers, government officials and individuals from corporations, faith-based organizations, and community groups worked side-by-side with Habitat LA homeowners and homebuyers acting as agents of change in furthering Habitat LA’s mission of Building a Greater Los Angeles.
