The Dream Builders Project raised $20,000 at its third annual A Brighter Future for Children Charity Gala last Thursday, March 3, at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles, California.

A sold out event with over 500 celebrity, industry leaders, and influential attendees, the gala received much praise across print and digital media, including US Weekly, Angeleno Magazine, LA Fashion Magazine, LA Travel Magazine, and the Daily Mail.

100% of the net proceeds from live and silent auction sales, poker buy-ins and rebuys, merchandise sales, and onsite donations amounted to over $20,000. Attended by Ariel Winter, Kelli Berglund, and many more celebrities, this was The Dream Builders Project’s most successful fundraising event so far.

The funds will be directly donated to the Audrey Hepburn CARES Center at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Funds will help provide comprehensive medical evaluations, treatment, and psychiatric rehabilitation to children who have been affected by physical, sexual, and psychological abuse and neglect.

“A Brighter Future for Children Gala is our night to bring attention and limelight to a cause we hold most dear,” says founder Mayer Dahan. “For our team raising money is just the unintended cherry on top.”

Raising over $20,000 for the Audrey Hepburn CARES Center at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles was a feat for a charity of The Dream Builders Project’s size. Working year round to organize, raise funds, and host A Brighter Future for Children, The Dream Builders Project was able to underwrite all the event’s expenses and give 100% of the proceeds to the beneficiary.
