The Dream Builders Project will host its third annual A Brighter Future for Children Charity Gala on Thursday March 3, 2016, at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles, California.
100% of the net proceeds from ticket sales, poker tournament buy-ins, sale of auction items, and onsite donations will go directly to the Audrey Hepburn CARES Center at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Funds donated will aid the comprehensive medical evaluations and psychiatric rehabilitation of children who have been affected by physical, sexual, and psychological abuse, and their families.
This year’s gala promises to be one of the greatest and most entertaining charity events of the year, complemented by a musical performance by Grammy award winner, Omar Akram. Celebrity guests coming to show their support include Kristen Renton, David Marciano, Shanna Moakler, and the Harris Brothers. As the evening’s media partner, Angeleno Modern Luxury magazine will also be providing coverage of the gala, including interviews and red carpet photos with celebrities.
“The Dream Builders Project was founded because of my passion for the community, and my determination to create an organization that will make a difference,” says founder, Mayer Dahan. “A Brighter Future for Children shows how an organization, no matter how big or small, can host a world class event that has a profound impact on the community.”
An impressive list of brands will be offering guests some of Los Angeles’ best products and experiences. Auction and swag bag items have been donated by Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills, LA Lakers, LA Kings, Pure Barre Hollywood, The London West Hollywood, Sugarfina, Le Jolie Medi Spa, Total Wine and More, Amoeba Music, and many more. Guests will also luxuriate in flowers from Flower Gypsy, organic beverages from Suja Juice, bags of Skinny Pop popcorn, arcade games from Royce’s Arcade Warehouse, selfie opportunities thanks to PHHHOTO and Hive Social Lab, and a celebrity-hosted poker tournament with Tom Malloy, star of Love N’ Dancing. Beer and wine will be courtesy of Abigaile and Sabina Vineyards.
