Adam Sandler surprised veterans, more than 50 military service members and their dates from Camp Pendleton at the Hollywood Improv rehearsing new material at Boot Campaign's “Comedy Boot Jam” on Oct. 28.
“Comedy Boot Jam” was a star-studded, private event created on behalf of Boot Campaign to show appreciation for our military heroes in a unique and fun way. Hosted by critically-acclaimed comedian Josh Wolf (E!‘s Chelsea Lately, CMT’s The Josh Wolf Show), “Comedy Boot Jam” was a night filled with laughs made by A-list stand-up comedians, including Sandler, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Leslie Jordan and more. They joined celebrity supporters in celebrating Active and Veteran service members.
The night began with arrivals on a military camo-themed red carpet and the show was kicked off by Boot Campaign Chief Operating Officer Staff Sergeant (Ret.) Joey Jones, USMC.
“Comedy Boot Jam” was created to raise unique awareness for Boot Campaign, a national nonprofit, charity dedicated to promoting patriotism, awareness and assistance to current and former military service members and their families. Learn more at bootcampaign.org.
