The groundbreaking musical fundraiser benefited Oceana, the world’s largest international organization focused solely on ocean conservation.

Other attendees included Diane Lane, Oceana Board member Sam Waterston, January Jones, Ke$ha, Mary Steenburgen, Dwight Yoakum, Amanda Seyfried, Kristen Bell, Laura Dern, Nolan Gould, Ed Begley, Jr., Oscar Nunez, Thomas Sadoski and Eion Bailey. The event took place at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California last night.

Following a cocktail reception, MacFarlane took the stage along with the 50-member Blue Oceans Orchestra. MacFarlane sang and emceed a musical program featuring performances by Kesha, Yoakam, Kristen Bell, McPhee, Mary Steenburgen, Seyfried, Sharon Lawrence, Rebekah Del Rio and Liz Gillies. Proceeds from the event will support Oceana’s effort to save the oceans and feed the world.

“We can’t have a truly healthy planet without healthy seas,” MacFarlane said, “so it’s great to be able to support Oceana and provide support to their efforts to save the oceans and feed the world.”

Some of the musical highlights of the evening included MarFarlane singing “I Get Along Without You Very Well,” Kristen Bell singing “Do You Want to Build a Snowman (from Disney’s FROZEN),” Dwight Yoakum singing “Fly Me to the Moon,” Katharine McPhee singing “Heart Shaped Wreckage,” Mary Steenburgen singing “I Choose You,” Amanda Seyfried singing “When It Don’t Come Easy” and Kesha singing “God Only Knows.”

“We are very grateful to Seth and all the fantastic singers and everyone who attended the event tonight on behalf of Oceana,” added Oceana Board President Keith Addis, “this support will enable Oceana to win victories that can help to make our oceans abundant and vibrant once again.”

The event also featured an accompanying online auction with several items available for bidding through early October, including a private lunch with Oceana board member Ted Danson, swimming lessons with Olympian and Oceana Ambassador Aaron Peirsol and more.
