Through a new Back to School campaign with the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, Mota’s fans will have the opportunity to enter a contest on Omaze.com and win a lunch with the YouTube star as well as a backpack decorated by Bethany.

“I am really excited to help UNICEF provide kids with a better education,” said the 19-year-old YouTube star. “School supplies are such an important part of learning, and every child – no matter where they live – should have the tools they need to shine in the classroom.”

To enter the contest, launching today, and to join Mota in supporting UNICEF, visit Omaze.com/Bethany. Donations will help fund UNICEF’s efforts to provide essential school supplies to kids in need all over the world. Participants can also post photos of their back-to-school essentials on Instagram with the hashtag #MyUNICEFBackpack to raise awareness about global education needs.

While all participating fans are automatically entered for the opportunity to win a lunch and a backpack, fans that donate additional funds have a chance to be rewarded with an exciting assortment of premiums. Packages include a signed products from the Bethany Mota Aeropostale collection, a personal thank you video from Bethany and a Skype call with Bethany.

Approximately 58 million children around the world are out of primary school. Many drop out due to school fees and lack of basic learning supplies like notebooks, backpacks, pencil and paper.

UNICEF works to provide the tools and opportunities for children around the world to stay in school, complete their education and have a brighter future. The organization’s education programs focus on building schools, training teachers, delivering supplies and learning materials to classrooms and helping children continue their education in the wake of an emergency or natural disaster.
