The VIP launch of Eat (RED) Drink (RED) Save Lives 2015 will take place later this month.

The launch event will feature an extraordinary alfresco dinner and drinks experience, hosted by Mario Batali and produced by Outstanding in the Field. Presented by Infiniti, The (RED) Supper officially launches EAT (RED) DRINK (RED) SAVE LIVES, a campaign running for the month of June to raise money and awareness for The Global Fund to fight AIDS.

With 1,000 guests attending, this VIP event will see ten of America’s best-known chefs team up in pairs to create (RED) inspired menus. Each chef duo will create a unique four-course menu for 200 guests.

The participating chefs teams are:

David Burke & Josh Capon
April Bloomfield & Joey Campanaro
Elizabeth Falkner & Mark Ladner
Michael Symon & Jonathan Waxman
Michael Schlow & John Besh

Following a successful inaugural year in 2014, (RED)’s fundraising culinary campaign – EAT (RED) DRINK (RED) SAVE LIVES – returns bigger and bolder for 2015, tapping chefs, restaurants, food trucks, bars and everyone in between to “turn (RED)” and raise awareness and money for the Global Fund to fight AIDS. The goal of EAT (RED) DRINK (RED) SAVE LIVES is to bring the food world to the table to help #86AIDS.

A variety of EAT (RED) DRINK (RED) SAVE LIVES events and promotions will take place throughout June, from The (RED) Supper, to (RED) dishes and drinks available in restaurants around the world to pop-up food truck parties. Each participating food and drink business will make a donation to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, to support (RED)’s fight for an AIDS free generation.

Chef Ambassadors from across the globe will actively participate in the campaign and include: Mario Batali, Paul Qui, April Bloomfield, Dominique Ansel, Sanjeev Kapoor, Enrique Olvera and more.
