Under the auspices of Brenda Novak for the Cure, Novak has hosted an Annual Online Auction during the month of May for the past 10 years, raising more than $2.4 million for diabetes research. Last year, she added an innovative new feature, her first collaborative project, A Sweet Life boxed set, which featured 14 bestselling authors. Fans responded in droves, raising nearly $100,000 from boxed set sales alone.
After such a remarkable response, Novak decided to focus her efforts on assembling three new sets, featuring a mix of traditional and indie authors, including:
