BidKind, an online charity auction platform, is proud to announce its official launch for spring 2015.

BidKind offers users access to celebrities via unforgettable experiences that give back to the world’s leading charitable organizations. For its launch, BidKind will feature one-of-a-kind experiences with Michelle Rodriguez, Olivia Palermo & Maryna Linchuk, and Elisa Sednaoui & Diane von Furstenberg.

BidKind has been building an impressive track record since its soft launch during the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. Past experiences have included meeting James Franco at a preview screening of Child of God followed by an intimate dinner party benefiting The Art of Elysium, backstage passes to meet No Doubt, Hugh Jackman and Carrie Underwood at the 2014 Global Citizens Festival as well as joining Wiz Khalifa at the Forbes “30 Under 30” event benefiting the Global Poverty Project, backstage passes to meet Linkin Park in Brazil benefiting Music for Relief, and partying with Paris Hilton during Art Basel Miami benefiting Best Friends Animal Society.

BidKind has set out to establish itself in the charity auction space as a highly curated and relevant platform for millennials and baby boomers alike with a trilingual platform in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, allowing it to reach 525 million users globally. BidKind’s auctions use a traditional English auction mechanism in which the highest bidder wins, and many auctions also feature a “Buy Now” option, in which one user can donate the entire asking amount to secure the experience.

“We are thrilled to announce the official launch of BidKind,” said Herve Larren, BidKind CEO. “BidKind sets itself apart by offering an accessible platform for one-of-a-kind experiences that benefit nonprofits globally. We have spent nearly a year perfecting the model and confirming proof of concept, allowing us to unveil a platform that will redefine the online auction enterprise. Our objective is to become the Ebay of experiences while becoming the largest fundraising platform for nonprofits and influencers worldwide.”

For its official launch, BidKind has curated ten experiences that opened for auction on March 12. Auctions will run between three and five weeks. A highlight of the official launch auctions includes one lucky winner and a guest meeting “Fast & Furious 7” star Michelle Rodriguez to go exotic car racing. Bidding will open at $2,000, with funds raised benefiting amfAR. Another auction highlight is a private yoga lesson with style icon Olivia Palermo taught by Victoria’s Secret supermodel Maryna Linchuk in New York City. Users can choose to bid on the auction opening at $750, or one user can donate $7,500 to secure the experience, which will benefit ADCAM, a Spanish and American nonprofit dedicated to developing cooperation projects and social responsibility initiatives.

With the launch of these new experiences, BidKind plans to expand its presence in the online charity auction space, working towards its goal of being the largest fundraising platform for nonprofits and influencers worldwide. For more information, please visit www.bidkind.com.
