The nation’s best-loved celebrities will be joining forces in a must-see sketch for this year’s Red Nose Day.

Written by David Walliams and the Dawson Brothers, viewers will see some of the biggest names in showbiz find out if they’ve done enough to earn the esteemed accolade of ‘National Treasure 2015’.

Stephen Fry, Miranda Hart and Sheridan Smith have the honour of sitting on the revered judging panel, and are tasked with the impossible decision of who should become a National Treasure in this one-off special.

Hoping to impress the panel is a host of the nation’s most popular personalities, as Russell Brand, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, David Gandy, Katie Price, David Walliams, Robbie Williams and The Chuckle Brothers are all hoping they have done enough to obtain the ultimate British seal of approval.

The competition is stiff, so who’s got what it takes and who will be going home disappointed? Expect laughter, surprises, and some very special guest appearances.

David Walliams said: "To make a good Comic Relief sketch you need something special, you need big guest stars and something you can only see on that one day of the year – Red Nose Day. For me, this is hopefully all of those things.

“I’m really excited about this year’s Red Nose Day campaign because it’s a real bumper year for comedy, and the whole reason that I loved Comic Relief at school and beyond was because I loved comedy. The point of the evening is to raise money, but unless you’ve got some great comedy that people really want to see, you’re not going to raise as much as you would otherwise.”

Red Nose Day is back on Friday 13th March with an unmissable evening of entertainment: ‘Comic Relief – Face the Funny’, live from the London Palladium. The star-studded evening of comedy will be presented by a stellar line up of TV favourites including John Bishop, Russell Brand, Lenny Henry, Davina McCall, David Walliams and Claudia Winkleman. Expect original sketches from TV finest stars, live stand up from some the nation’s best comedians, fantastic musical performances and highlights from this year’s Red Nose Day campaign. Don’t miss it!
