A number of stars – including Kenny Rogers, Hunter Hayes and Gillian Welch – have donated guitars to a new auction benefiting Musicians Corner and the Conservancy for the Parthenon and Centennial Park in Nashville.

The Conservancy for the Parthenon and Centennial Park is a Nashville based 501c3 nonprofit organization that was founded in 1985. The Conservancy’s mission is to preserve, enhance, and share the Parthenon and Centennial Park so that future generations may benefit from these enriching cultural and educational landmarks. Musicians Corner, a program of The Conservancy, started in 2010 and currently presents 18 free family-friendly music events each year in Centennial Park. Since 2010, Musicians Corner has showcased and supported over 500 emerging artists, and presented music legends including Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris, The Blind Boys Of Alabama and Preservation Hall Jazz Band. The Conservancy and City of Nashville are in the process of building a permanent home for Musicians Corner in Centennial Park as a gathering place and future global music landmark where artists from around the world can express themselves through music.

All auction proceeds benefit Musicians Corner in supporting artists and presenting free community events in Nashville’s Centennial Park. For more info, click here.

The auction is open until Tuesday, Feb 10, and can be accessed here.
