Earlier this week, country singer Kimberly Schlapman of Grammy nominated Little Big Town joined Smithfield to lend a hand to those in need by donating 30,000 pounds of protein to the Food Bank For New York City.
The donation is part of Smithfield’s #LendAHam program, which seeks to alleviate the high demand for protein during the holiday season with protein donations to food banks around the country.
