She’s sung about being Glamorous, she’s sung about being Clumsy – now Fergilicious Fergie can sing about being Generous after donating some of the proceeds from a weekend concert to charity.
“The Duchess” performed at Hollywood’s Seminole Hard Rock Live in South Florida over the weekend and made a special appearance before her concert to donate a portion of her ticket sales to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood.
“I’m happy to be here and be part of the Ambassadors of Rock concert,” she said as she handed over a check for $20,000. “I want to thank the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and to all these guys for coming out. Let’s all have a great time [tonight].”
The singer – who also performs as part of the Black Eyed Peas – also signed an Ambassadors of Rock guitar during the event and donated some of her own pop memorabilia to be added to the Hard Rock’s world-famous collection.
