One of the most beloved figures on the social and celebrity scenes, acclaimed celebrity and society photographer Annie Watt will unveil her first solo exhibition Impromptu Portraits, at the Galerie Dumonteil, at 475 Park Avenue, New York City, 10022 from December 10th 2014 to January 10th 2015.

An exclusive VIP Preview Reception will be held on December 9, 2014 from 6 PM to 8 PM and will be hosted by a number of the city’s social glitterati including Geoffrey Bradfield, Barbara and Donald Tober, Gillian and Sylvester Miniter, Eleanora and Michael Kennedy and Ambassador John Loeb and Sharon Handler Loeb.

Impromptu Portraits will feature imagery of internationally known celebrities, politicians, fashion leaders and power brokers from Annie’s extensive body of work, which currently consists of over 950,000 photographs chronicling the most fascinating and glamorous events of the gilded set. Among the famous faces who have posed happily for Watt featured in this show are Neil Patrick Harris, Oscar de la Renta, Barbara Walters, Prince Andrew, Spike Lee, Whoopi Goldberg, Iris Apfel, Diane von Furstenberg, Donald Trump, Donna Karan, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Henry Kissinger, Hugh Jackman, James Earl Jones, Christie Brinkley, Candice Bergen and Bill Clinton.

The By-Invitation-Only VIP Preview will benefit the American Heart Association. Impromptu Portraits will exhibit in New York before the show travels to Paris and Shanghai. The show is curated by Christine Schott Ledes and Michael McAuliffe. Gallery hours are from Monday to Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturdays from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
