Kim Basinger has written to Georgia Regents University to urge the stop to dental experiments on dogs.

The actress first saw an undercover video of the experiments, but the pleas of activists have fallen on deaf ears.

“It’s hard to believe it has been a year since I first saw The Humane Society of the United States’ undercover video footage exposing unnecessary dental experiments on dogs at GRU," wrote Basinger. "The horrifying footage still haunts me to this day and I am terribly alarmed to learn that GRU has yet to confirm the The HSUS and concerned citizens across the country that these experiments have and will permanently cease.

“An entire year has gone by and I simply can’t sit by any longer as more dogs may potentially be having their lives taken by GRU, having their teeth removed and replaced with implants for no good or medically sound reason. I implore you to stop these unnecessary experiments permanently, and share your decision without further delay.”
