On November 1st, 2014 Padres Contra el Cancer (PADRES), a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for children with cancer and their families, will celebrate its 14th annual fundraising event, ‘El SUENO DE ESPERANZA,’ in partnership with TAO Group and The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas.
Actress, Activist, Philanthropist and PADRES National Spokesperson, Eva Longoria will serve as the event chair, as the celebration honors KECK HOSPITAL OF USC and VERIZON.
“As the father of a child who is a cancer survivor, I understand the unique needs of children suffering from this disease,” said Scott Evans, Pharm.D., M.H.A., CEO of Keck Hospital of USC and USC Norris Cancer Hospital. “We applaud PADRES Contra El Cancer’s mission to support young cancer patients and their families, and we are honored to be recognized by such a compassionate organization.”
Both Keck Hospital of USC and Verizon will be honored with the ‘El Sueno de Esperanza’ Award, acknowledging their exemplary dedication, commitment and compassion toward improving the quality of life for children with cancer and their families.

The weekend-long celebration will include a silent auction, awards ceremony, a special performance by Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas, an Official After Party at TAO Nightclub, as well as, other weekend festivities. PADRES along with its National Spokespersons, Eva Longoria and Beto Cuevas invite supporters from across the nation to come together and embark on this journey to bring HOPE to children with cancer and their families.
