Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research will host its annual fundraiser, the Angel Ball, on Monday, October 20th at Cipriani Wall Street.

This black-tie benefit, hosted by Grammy-nominated songwriter Denise Rich and her daughters Daniella Rich Kilstock and Ilona Rich Schachter, will honor His Excellency Yousef Al Otaiba, United Arab Emirates Ambassador to the United States, and Mrs. Abeer AL Otaiba; four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and Founder of the Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation, Jeff Gordon; Mr. Jho Low, Chief Executive Officer of Jynwel Capital Limited and Director of the Jynwel Charitable Foundation Limited; and multi-Grammy Award- winning music legend Nile Rodgers.

The signature fundraising event of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation, the Angel Ball stands out as one of the highlights of the New York social season and features a cocktail reception, dinner, show and both live and online auctions. This star-studded event will feature a musical performance by honoree Nile Rodgers and his band Chic and several additional musical “surprises.” The Angel Ball honors individuals who have made significant humanitarian and philanthropic contributions in support of cancer research and boasts attendees in the fields of business, philanthropy, and society alike for this annual celebration of life, music and the quest for a cure.

“This year we honor four outstanding individuals who have all made significant contributions to cancer research,” said Co-Founder Denise Rich. “I am proud to stand beside them as we work together toward a common goal of eradicating cancer in our lifetime.”

“We are proud to be in partnership with Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation in their work to develop more effective therapies for cancer patients around the world,” said Jho Low, Chief Executive Officer of Jynwel Capital Limited and Director of Jynwel Charitable Foundation Limited. “Working together, we are all determined to make cancer history.”

Board Member and celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz serves as this year’s Gala Chair. United Airlines is the Official Angel Ball Airline and Italian fashion house Emilio Pucci will serve as Décor Sponsor. Champagne for the event will be provided by Champagne Taittinger. Each table will be draped with the beautiful Emilio Pucci “Aracaju” print in one of two vibrant color variants, either blue or pink. The décor will be complimented by a Mediterranean floral arrangement that will enhance the striking print.

Simon de Pury will serve as this year’s auctioneer during the live auction portion of the evening. In conjunction, Charitybuzz.com will feature a global online auction with additional experiences and items which will run from October 14 through November 4, 2014.
