Demonstrating its ability to mobilize numerous resources and supporters to help others give back and foster a more compassionate world, unite4:good (www.unite4good.org) today announced that The Eva Longoria Foundation is the latest to join its coalition of charitable organizations and sponsors as a Founding Affiliate.

Founded by global philanthropist and entrepreneur Anthony Melikhov, the unite4:good movement is committed to a message of inspire:empower:share:love and inspiring positive action to deliver a day when the number of people who want to help outnumber those who need it.

Established by Eva Longoria, the Eva Longoria Foundation helps Latinas build better futures for themselves and their families through education and entrepreneurship. The Foundation offers programs which help Latinas graduate from high school college-ready. Additionally, it provides Latina entrepreneurs with capital and training to start and grow their businesses. By investing in Latinas, the Foundation hopes to build a stronger future for our country.

“unite4:good shares our belief that if you empower people with the tools they need, everyone benefits,” said Maggie Neilson, Executive Director of the Eva Longoria Foundation. “This partnership will strengthen our programs and help expand our efforts to highlight the huge and relatively untapped potential of Latinas.”

unite4:good and The Eva Longoria Foundation will work together to support the Foundation’s parent engagement training and micro-loans program. The parent engagement training is a nine-week program that teaches parents how to help their children graduate from high school college-ready. The micro-loans program provides needed capital to borrowers who may not qualify for traditional credit, and incorporates business and financial management skills.

“There are millions of kind actions taking place right now in all cultural traditions,” said Mr. Melikhov. “We are thrilled to unite with charitable organizations such as The Eva Longoria Foundation to collaborate, expand and amplify our work. Together, we can transform our world.”
