Family Equality Council's Los Angeles Awards Dinner, hosted at the Globe Theater in Universal City on Saturday, set a Los Angeles record for the event, raising $571,000 for the Council and it’s programs.

Performances included Adam Lambert, Amber Riley, Darren Criss and Melissa Etheridge.

Presenters included Glee creator Ryan Murphy, actress Busy Philipps, and the cast of ABC’s Scandal including Scott Foley, Tony Goldwyn and Jeff Perry. Other guests included Tim Allen, Pauley Perrette (NCIS), Laura Prepon, George Takei, Harold Perrineau, Aisha Tyler, Kathleen Robertson, Tuc Watkins, Alex Newell (Glee), Tamara Barney (Real Housewives of Orange County), Heather Dubrow (Real Housewives of Orange County), Carlon Gebbia (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), Joyce Giraud (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), Yolanda Foster (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), Dale Dickey, Debbie Holliday, Amanda Bearse, and the cast of ABC Family’s The Fosters including Maia Mithcell, David Lambert, Cierra Ramirez, Jake T. Austin, Danny Nucci and Hayden Byerly.

Family Equality Council programs that will benefit from the event include Pearls of Wisdom, an initiative to empower seniors with family members who identify as LGBTQ to tell their stories and promote family equality on local, state, and national levels.
