Bent On Learning is to host its 5th annual Inspire! Gala later this month.
Hosted by Hilaria Baldwin (yoga and wellness expert and EXTRA correspondent) and Alysia Reiner (Actress,Orange is the New Black), the event will honor Dr. Frank Lipman.
Bent On Learning (BOL) is a nonprofit organization committed to teaching yoga to children in New York City public schools as a way to directly promote health conscious, learning-ready students. For over 13 years, BOL has brought yoga to tens of thousands of students, fulfilling their mission of teaching kids to be more focused, happier and healthier in learning and in life.
The Bent On Learning Inspire! Award is given in honor of those who are dedicated to the health and wellness of children, who endorse yoga as a tool for education and are committed to supporting Bent On Learning and yoga for children. Past honorees include Gwyneth Paltrow, Donna Karan, Eddie Stern, The David Lynch Foundation and Russell Simmons. Jewelry designer Landon Slane – designer behind SLANE Fine Jewelry – specially designs the Inspire! Gala honoree award each year.
