Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), is happy to announce Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Tim & Eric, Reggie Watts and a monkey are adding a bit more humor to The Second Annual Ugly Sweater Fundraising Campaign.

Video: JASH UGLY SWEATER CONTEST

On December 12th, the JASH Network released a new video directed by Justin Baldoni featuring these comedic stars — and, yes, a monkey — all donning their ugliest sweaters. Fans will be asked to text donations to SU2C as part of a challenge to decide just who among them is wearing the ugliest ugly sweater.

The person, or animal, who receives the most in donations sent to their unique text code will win the competition. Up until December 31st, fans can text to donate $10 at 40202 (for Sarah Silverman, text Sarah; for Tim & Eric, text Tim&Eric, for Michael Cera, text Michael, for Reggie, text Reggie, for the Goat text Goat, and for the Monkey, text Monkey).

“If I don’t beat out the monkey in getting donations, it’s time to fire my agents,” said Sarah Silverman. “I’ve always been a fan of ugly sweaters, but Stand Up To Cancer’s really allowed me to embrace the holiday tradition in a big way and I’m happy to be supporting their cause and helping them continue to fund groundbreaking cancer research.”

“We’re beyond excited to have the support of these brilliant comedians, who have really captured the essence of the Ugly Sweater campaign with their humor and heart,” said Pam Williams of SU2C Council of Founders and Advisors. “We hope people everywhere will join in SU2C’s new holiday tradition of having some fun with a seasonal cliché, while raising much needed funds for accelerated research that is saving lives.”

All proceeds raised through the Ugly Sweater Campaign will go directly to funding SU2C’s groundbreaking research. SU2C enables collaboration among leading scientists and doctors in the cancer research community, focused on getting new therapies to patients quickly.
