The 7th annual Stand Up For Heroes event that will benefit post-9/11 wounded veterans, presented by the Bob Woodruff Foundation and the New York Comedy Festival, will be available via a broadcast featuring a Google+ Hangout at google.com/+Stand4Heroes.
The event will also be available via live stream at bobwoodrufffoundation.org/youtube.
The Nov. 6 event, taking place at the new Theater at Madison Square Garden, will feature performances by Bill Cosby, Jim Gaffigan, Bruce Springsteen, Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Stewart and Roger Waters. Roger will be performing with a band comprised of nearly two dozen musicians and singers, all of whom are wounded active service members or veterans representing all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and the MusiCorps Wounded Warrior Band.
The performances will be captured for fans beyond the venue, courtesy of Google+, the sharing and communications platform that brings real-world interactions online.
The Google+ Hangout will also facilitate an interactive discussion between musicians on location, celebrities and veterans about their personal perspectives on the importance of supporting the veteran community.

The Google+ Hangout will be available on the Bob Woodruff Foundation Google+ page and the Bob Woodruff YouTube channel, and will be posted for fans to view after the event.
