Christian pop/rock band Tenth Avenue North recently announced the 2013 Tenth Avenue North Classic celebrity golf tournament to take place on August 12.

The tournament will be co-hosted by Tenth Avenue North and PGA Tour Winner Kevin Streelman. Teeing off at Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh, North Carolina, the event was organized to support Compassion International and other ministries including CRU-RDU and College Golf Fellowship. Celebrities in attendance will include Tenth Avenue North, rock band NEEDTOBREATHE, six-time GRAMMY winner TobyMac, PGA Tour Winner Streelman and a number of other PGA, NFL and NASCAR professional athletes.

“As a band, we are incredibly excited to host our first golf tournament with our close friend PGA Pro Kevin Streelman,” said Jeff Owen, Tenth Avenue North. “We have a passion for golf but also to see the needs of the world met. What better way than to combine the two in support of our longtime partners, Compassion International Cru and College Golf Fellowship.”

“I am extremely excited to be affiliated with the Tenth Avenue North Classic,” Kevin Streelman, PGA Tour Winner. “To be able to bring together my friends from the PGA Tour, NASCAR, and many of the top performing artists in the music industry is truly a dream come true.”

Sponsorship packages are available in varying sizes to participate in the tournament and to support charity partners. All sponsors will receive tickets to the exclusive After Party, which will include a top dining experience and a private concert from Tenth Avenue North, NEEDTOBREATHE and TobyMac.

Fans can enter an online giveaway for a chance to attend by making a $5 donation to the charity partners. The trip package includes airfare and hotels, two spots with a celebrity in the golf tournament and two tickets to the exclusive After Party, VIP dinner and private acoustic concert.
