Rainbow Light, leaders in the natural nutrition industry with the number one-selling women’s, prenatal, and men’s supplements, has joined forces with actress, HBO Newsroom star, and Oklahoma native Olivia Munn to help Oklahoma tornado victims.

Their partnership will donate Protein Energizer — a powder nutritional shake offering an important source of plant-based protein and energy – to support disaster relief efforts following the recent tornadoes in Moore, Oklahoma. Munn visited her home state and joined officials from the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to present the donation, valued at $25,000, at its Moore Distribution Center on Saturday, June 8.

“My heart broke as I watched the tornadoes and storms rip through my home state of Oklahoma. It’s the Oklahoma way to help each other, especially in times of crisis. I feel a deep responsibility to help local residents who were affected by the recent storms, and want to encourage more people and organizations everywhere to get involved,” said Olivia Munn. “I’m grateful that companies like Rainbow Light, with a long-standing commitment to helping those in need, are able to assist the relief efforts of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. This charitable effort aids both storm victims and relief workers whose tireless efforts on the ground, day-and-night, are rebuilding this great state.”

Rainbow Light’s Protein Energizer is a whole-food, brown rice plant protein shake that mixes easily into water, juice or milk. This donation will provide approximately 180,000 servings of much-needed protein, with energizing B vitamins, herbs, fiber and super-foods to residents and volunteers.

“Our thoughts are with the remarkable people of Oklahoma, who through all the heartache and devastation have remained high-spirited, while displaying a strong sense of perseverance,” said Linda Kahler, president of Rainbow Light. “As part of our corporate heritage we are honored to support the relief efforts through this important donation alongside Olivia Munn.”

As one of its original goals, Rainbow Light continues to provide financial assistance and product donations to families and organizations in need. Rainbow Light has a long-standing partnership with Vitamin Angels ― an organization dedicated to helping women and their children gain access to lifesaving and life-changing micronutrients, through which Rainbow Light has donated nearly 30 million prenatal and children’s vitamins since 1994.
