Victoria Wood is backing Marie Curie Cancer Care's Blooming Great Tea Party campaign this summer.
Victoria attended a London recording studio to voice the charity’s radio campaign, which is calling for people to hold a tea party this June and July to help raise funds for the charity.
Victoria said: “The cup of tea is one of life’s great pleasures and I can think of no better way of raising money for a great cause than holding a Blooming Great Tea Party for Marie Curie Cancer Care. People in Britain love a brew and I’d encourage everyone to pop the kettle on and enjoy a cuppa with friends and family for the charity this summer. It’s a simple and fun thing to do and all the funds raised will help Marie Curie Nurses to provide more care to people with terminal illnesses at home.”
