GREATER THAN AIDS is a leading public information response to the U.S. domestic HIV/AIDS epidemic with a focus on areas and people most affected.

Emphasizing hope, unity and personal empowerment, Greater Than AIDS is about what is possible when we come together. Whether HIV negative or positive, we all have a role to play in ending HIV/AIDS.

Through targeted media messages and community outreach, Greater Than AIDS and its partners work to increase knowledge and understanding and confront the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS, while promoting actions to stem its spread.

Launched in 2009 by the Kaiser Family Foundation with the Black AIDS Institute, Greater Than AIDS is today supported by an unprecedented network of public and private sector partners, including major media and other business leaders, Federal, state and local health agencies, national leadership groups, AIDS service and other community organizations, and foundations, among others.
