Diabetes Hands Foundation is a small, non-profit organization which creates and supports platforms where people with diabetes and their loved ones can connect and have an open dialog about their experiences with this chronic condition. Their work is founded upon the belief that no one touched by diabetes should ever feel alone, because together we become stronger and have the power to generate positive change in ourselves and our community. Examples of their programs include the social networks TuDiabetes.org and its Spanish counterpart EsTuDiabetes.org, their international awareness-raising program Big Blue Test, and an artistic expression program called Word In Your Hand.
