T.I. is an American rap artist.
In October, 2010, the rapper helped rescue a suicidal man this week – via video phone!
The rapper witnessed a stand-off between police and the man – who was threatening to throw himself off a high-rise building – while out-and-about in Atlanta, Georgia.
“It summoned my heart, my spirit,” the star told TMZ.com. "I said to myself… ‘I gotta help.’
“To assure him that it was really me, [the police] recorded a video message on the cop’s cell phone and took it up to him… Fifteen minutes later the guy came down peacefully.”
The rapper has vowed to keep in touch with the man and help with his recovery.
