Sam Simon is a director, producer, writer, boxing manager and philanthropist best known for co-creating The Simpsons.
He established the Sam Simon Foundation, which rescues and trains stray dogs. He also funded the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society vessel the MY Sam Simon.
Sam is on the board for Save the Children, and PETA named their Norfolk, Virginia headquarters building after him.
Sam Simon has passed away, but we remember his charity work.
