As a fresh face dominating the teen market, actor Matt Lanter joined the first season of The CW’s hit show 90210, playing the West Beverly high school bad boy “Liam.” Said to have “electrified” the show with his stellar performance in every episode, Matt returned to the hit series as a series regular for season two while also continuing his work on the record-setting, hit animated television series, “STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS,” currently airing season two on the Cartoon Network.
Always keeping busy, Matt starred in SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT’S feature horror film “SORORITY ROW” this past fall, and he is also set to star alongside Leighton Meester (“Gossip Girl”) in SONY SCREEN GEMS’ psychological thriller, “THE ROOMMATE” premiering February 4, 2011.
Outside of acting, Matt supports the Alzheimer's Association and has participated in various events for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. One of these events was a celebrity dodgeball team promoting the premiere of Ben Stiller’s movie, “Dodgeball,” in which the proceeds went to the Foundation, and he also participated in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon where he was part of the “COMMANDER IN CHIEF” celebrity relay team.
