Lisa Ling Charity Work, Events and Causes

Lisa Ling is an American journalist, television host and writer.

Ling created secretsocietyofwomen.com, a forum for women to anonymously air what’s on their minds, connect and heal.

Ling is the National Correspondent for iVolunteer.org, and has been involved with iVolunteer since it began, spending some of her time helping out at St. John’s Shelter and Covenant House.

She says on the ivolunteer website: “Much of my career has been spent focusing on social issues overseas, but now I find myself reporting on these same issues right here in Our America. I believe so passionately in volunteering locally – there’s such a need!”
