Joel Rafael Charity Work, Events and Causes

Joel Rafael has been writing and performing since 1978 and over the past decades has released a stunning collection of eight Americana albums. He opened for Rick Danko, John Sebastian, Emmylou Harris, John Lee Hooker, John Stewart, Laura Nyro and Taj Mahal early in his career and, recently, has collaborated with John Trudell, Graham Nash, David Crosby, Kris Kristofferson, and Jackson Browne. Rafael is a noted Woody Guthrie interpreter who has several co-writes with Guthrie that are included on his double CD, Songs of Woody Guthrie, Vol. 1&2.
