Best known for his role on CHiPs, Erik Estrada was a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol’s “car seat inspection and installation” program.
He also supports DARE, United Way, the American Heart Association, and the CHP’s 11-99 Foundation, which provides benefits and Scholarships to California Highway Patrol family members and funeral expenses for fallen officers. Erik is an ambassador for Smile Train.
In May, 2011, Erik visited Smile Train partner Hospital Margarita Maza De Juarez in Mazatlan, Mexico and experienced firsthand the life changing impact that Smile Train has on over a hundred thousand children a year and their families.
Also in 2011, he competed on the second season of the hit Univision show, “¡Mira Quién Baila!” (Look Who’s Dancing!), on behalf of Smile Train.
