Dean Obeidallah Charity Work, Events and Causes

Dean Obeidallah is a Palestinian/Italian-American comedian, who was born in Lodi, New Jersey. He is the co-creator of “Stand up for Peace”, which brings Muslims and Jews together through comedy in the hopes of fostering understanding and peace in the Middle East.

“I view myself as a comedian first, however, I hope that through my comedy I can have an impact on the way people see certain issues such as Americans’ perceptions of Arabs and Muslims,” he told Look To The Stars. “My entire act isn’t about political and social issues, but the core is and that is what I feel most passionate about.”
