After the death of his mother, Betty, from breast cancer in 1999, Danny searched for a way to keep her memory alive. He started a foundation that became Remember Betty during his solo career to help raise funds for breast cancer research & early detection. With the support of fellow NKTOB members and fans, the charity went from strength to strength following the band’s revival in 2008.
