Carmen Marc Valvo is an award-winning American fashion designer who has dressed myriad celebrities for the red carpet including Eva Longoria, Queen Latifah, Katie Couric, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Vanessa Williams, Kate Winslet, and Leona Lewis.
Valvo is also a colon cancer survivor, and supports several cancer organizations through fashion shows, PSAs, and appearances.
In March 2011 (National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month), Valvo auctioned off a one-of-a-kind dress from his Black Label collection to benefit the Colon Cancer Alliance. That same month, Valvo launched his book “Dressed to Perfection: The Art of Dressing for Your Red Carpet Moments,” the proceeds of which will benefit colon cancer organizations.
