Belinda Carlisle shot to fame as the lead vocalist of the Go-Go’s, before launching a successful solo career.

She is a vegetarian and was the first star to pose naked for PETA's “Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign. She contributed her song, “Bless the Beasts and the Children” to the album “Tame Yourself” to benefit PETA.

The singer donated her $32,000 winnings from “Who Wants to Be A Millionaire” to Little Angels Pug Rescue in Pasadena California.
